Our cooperation with the Maltese Tourism Office included support in PR work, social media and content marketing for the German market. Malta Tourism Authority needed short-term support during the tender for a new international agency.

The Challenge

To step in as an interim agency at very short notice and to massively support the Mediterranean islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino in terms of targeted press work and social media activities on the German market, without a preparation phase. The support was originally planned for only three months, however, it ultimately turned into two years. The collaboration ended when an international agency was selected from the tender.

Our Approach

Fast and uncomplicated support for the tourist office in all areas of PR and social media work. We supported the MTA in planning and organising two press receptions at ITB Berlin, published press releases and fact sheets, wrote advertorials for special-interest and consumer media (print and online), organised press trips and took over the complete handling of social media accounts, including online marketing activities via Facebook.

Success & Numbers

Publication of 27 press releases in 2019 alone as well as additional fact sheets and press kit for ITB Berlin. Organisation and implementation of numerous press trips, including a research and production trip for a multi-page report in BRIGITTE magazine as well as a cover story for LAFER magazine (published in spring 2020) together with TV chef Johann Lafer.

It is such a pity, as we had built a great working relationship and rest assured that once your tenure is over, you will be missed.
